The Spiritual journey is long, and more importantly a continuous process. The focus and efforts of the Spiritual pursuit is towards allowing the inner “Spirit” to manifest through our actions and behaviour, emotions and thoughts.
Meditation is one of the efficient ways to achieve this. But an important factor to remember is that Meditation is only a tool and not an end by itself. Just mechanically practicing the technique of Meditation will only take us some distance.
Spirituality involves the periods when we do not meditate also. This is where our efforts come in. First it involves us understanding the principles of Spirituality and what is required of the individual. Then our conscious efforts to implement them.
For example, positivizing ourselves is the starting point towards Purity. The more we consciously positivize our thoughts and emotions, the better the result. We may meditate regularly, but going back to life and continuing the old ways will not lead us to progress. We have to consciously make efforts to ignore our negative thoughts and emotions and substitute it with positive ones.
Such steps are not easy as they involve changing our habits and conditioning. It takes regular and sustained efforts to achieve this. The tools like Meditation help in such instances. The energies we absorb in Meditation help in the process of strengthening our intention and effort. The positivity is also influenced by the Divine nature of the energies. But our efforts are the important factor and it continues till emoting positively becomes our nature.
There are many such areas that a Sadhak faces and they have to be addressed one by one. The general attitude of the individual is to blame others or the circumstances. While there is truth in the external factors may playing a part, there is also a role we play. We take responsibility for our part and work on them. The external factors automatically dissolve.
Meditation practice and our efforts go in parallel.

We will have some amazing energies and opportunities this month. We celebrate the birthday of Lord Kalki and new energies from him will be available to humanity. We will also have wonderful energies during the Solstice, the energies of which shapes the future period.
The energies help us to balance the Spiritual and material aspects of our life. It also helps us to open up and embrace change and new realities.
These are also important occasions for internalising and contemplation. Periodical introspection always helps. It makes us understand ourselves better and also our relation to the external circumstances. We complete half a year at the end of the month. It would be a nice occasion to make note of our efforts of the last six months and the results achieved in this period. Based on this, we can determine what has to be done ahead.
Our Inner growth and development is very important, especially in this phase of Pralaya. Consciously embracing Spiritual growth and making efforts helps us to ride the tide instead of struggling in it.

The Special Days for Meditation in June are—
3rd June — Amavasya
This day is favourable for connecting to our respective ancestors and seeking their blessings. It is also an opportunity to work on issues that arise due to the ancestral karmas. The Amavasya energies help in clearing obstacles and runas associated with the departed elders.
The day is also an opportunity for introspection and contemplation and the energies aid in making the necessary changes. We can also utilize the energies to clear temptations.
We can practice the following technique to experience the Amavasya energies
Face North
Duration – 1 hour
Begin with 12 rounds of Pranayama with light-Blue Light
Pray to your ancestors for their blessings, guidance and also for ways to grow and evolve better.
Imagine bright light-Blue Light coming from the Moon and light-Green Light coming from your ancestors. Allow these energies to fill your entire body slowly and gradually. Experience for a couple of minutes and then imagine the body to be radiating and shining in this Light.
Then extend the same energies to your decisions and actions, behaviour and thought processes.
Keep experiencing this throughout the meditation. Repeat the mantra “Om Chandra Shaktiyai, Pitru Haritha Tejasayai Namaha”
5th/6th June — Lord Kalki Jayanti
We observe the birthday of Lord Kalki on this day (Jyesta Shukla Tritiya). It is roughly between 12 noon on the 5th till 12 noon on the 6th, IST. It will be easier to connect with Him during this period. Lord Kalki will be releasing some amount of new Light and Energies to humanity. Be open to receiving them. It will help immensely in tuning up to the present phase of the transition.
The energies of Lord Kalki are generally a little difficult to experience. They are of a slightly higher frequency than that of what we are used to. Do not lose hope. Also, it takes large amounts of Love and genuineness to be able to link with Him. It also takes more efforts compared to the other amshas of Lord MahaVishnu.
The Rishis mention that we can try and connect to him on a daily basis. It need not be only during the special occasions. The more we connect, the more we understand (at an intuitive level) about his work and the changes happening on Earth. It also becomes easier to establish a connection and relationship with Lord Kalki.
We can use Fluorescent Blue Light to connect with Him and experience. Be patient. As mentioned earlier, it may be difficult in the beginning. But with regular efforts, it becomes easier.

Following is the technique that we can practice on the occasion of Lord Kalki Jayanti (12pm of 5th to 12 pm of 6th, IST)
Face North
Duration – 1 hour (You can meditate more if you have time)
Begin with 7 rounds of Pranayama with Blue Light.
Then imagine Fluorescent Blue Light coming from Lord Kalki and allow it to fill your physical body slowly and gradually. Keep experiencing it for some time.
Then imagine the Light to fill each and every cell in the body. Then let the Light spread and fill the Naadis. As you keep experiencing the Light, imagine them to help cleanse, open up and charge them.
Repeat the mantra “Om Kalki Shaktiyai, Antaraya Tejasyai Namaha” silently.
17th June — Purnima
Purnima is the day for internalising and contemplation. Based on this we strengthen our resolutions and affirmations.
We will have wonderful energies from Chandra Deva (Moon God) and from the Rishis and other Light workers. Many spiritual activities and Divine works take place silently all over the world.
The energies of Purnima most favourably aid the strengthening our Sadhana. Connecting to the Divine and experiencing Light is much easier on this day compared to the others in general. The energies help in inner cleansing, opening up various spiritual aspects within and tuning up.
Please practice the following technique on Purnima –
Face North
Duration – 1 hour
Begin with 7 rounds of Pranayama with bright-Golden Light.
Then imagine bright-Golden Light coming from Chandra Deva (Moon God) and filling your physical body. Experience for some time. Then extend the same Light to your Spiritual pursuits, Prayers and Sankalpa, and finally to your Sadhana.
Keep sending the Light throughout the Meditation and experience it. Repeat the mantra “Om Chandra Svarna Shaktiyai, Shresta Brahmaya Namaha” silently.
21st June — Solstice
June Solstice is when the Sun is above the Tropic of Cancer. This Solstice brings new opportunities, new insights and an abundance of new energies. These energies will highly influence the remaining part of the year, both at the individual level and globally.
The energies aid a lot of Spiritual activity and has the potential to ease many difficult situations. The energies also help the individual to tune up better and align to the Spiritual principles.
We can practice the following technique to connect to and experience the energies of the Solstice.
Face North
Duration – 1 hour
Begin with 7 rounds of Pranayama with Golden Light.
Then consciously connect to the energies and Light of the Solstice. After this, imagine light-Blue and dark-Blue energies coming from the Solstice energies and allow it to fill your entire body. Experience this for some time.
Then mentally keep sending these energies to your life for the period of July to December 2019. Try to experience this and have a strong intent that the energies are charging you for this period and then shining and radiating.
Repeat the mantra “Om Ayanaya Shaktiyai, Vishala Neela Tejasayai Namaha” silently.
