It’s a very windy day outside, with strong gusts coming down from the mountain range and high hills where I currently live. A good backdrop to my own inner state, and this wanting to put myself out there, to find, recover my voice, my sovereignty. A countercurrent to what humanity is been subjected to currently by the controllers (whose powers of manipulation, deception are rapidly waning day by day), obfuscating, silencing of dissenting viewpoints.
I started this blog after mid-2016 when I was hurting inside, recovering, healing from emotional pain, a wounded heart. Perhaps I did that as a means to forget, subdue, subvert those difficult emotions I was experiencing, and living through, and to share the information, my perception of what was happening in the world, human society, and on what were the hidden forces trying to steer the world and its destiny from behind the scenes.
For many years I have taken recourse to songs, using some of their words as a crutch to express my own feelings. In the same vein, here’s my offering for today (a repeat post from Dec 2016).
Echoing the thoughts of Luana Wolf who has uploaded this song on YT:
We all hold the key to our own lives. Don’t let anyone, or thing hold you back from what you’re meant to be. …. R.I. P. Howie Epstein.
“Don’t ever get to the point where you can’t be taught. Because life is a classroom and everyone own’s a pen” — Shannon L. Alder
Wake Up Time – Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
You follow your feelings, you follow your dreams
You follow the leader into the trees
And what’s in there waiting, neither one of us knows
You got to keep one eye open the further you go
You never dreamed you’d go down on one knee, but now
Who could have seen, you’d be so hard to please somehow
You feel like a poor boy, a long way from home
You’re just a poor boy, a long way from home
And it’s wake up time
Time to open your eyes
And rise and shine
You spend your life dreaming, running around in a trance
You hang out forever and still miss the dance
And if you get lucky, you might find someone
To help you get over the pain that will come
Yeah, you were so cool back in high school, what happened
You were so sure not to have your spirits dampened
But you’re just a poor boy alone in this world
You’re just a poor boy alone in this world
And it’s wake up time
Time to open your eyes
And rise and shine
Well, if he gets lucky, a boy finds a girl
To help him to shoulder the pain in this world
And if you follow your feelings
And you follow your dreams
You might find the forest there in the trees
Yeah, you’ll be alright, it’s just going to take time, but now
Who could have seen you’d be so hard to please somehow
You’re just a poor boy a long way from home [x2]
And it’s wake up time
Time to open your eyes
And rise and shine
[x2]
