Quoting from the introduction to this video (which was published on Jun 5, 2018):
The Council of Foreign Relations recently posted (a) video to YouTube entitled, Political Disruptions: Combating Disinformation and Fake News, from the 2018 College and University Educators Workshop.
It’s a panel discussion presided over by Richard Stengel, and in it, Stengel has some really interesting things to say about propaganda, including, “I’m not against propaganda. And every country does it, and they have to do it to their own population. And I don’t necessarily think it’s that awful.”
The Resident breaks it down.
