Grateful | A Blissful Nomad | Nov 28, 2023

Summary:

It’s fall here at Ravens Rain shadow ranch

And its beginning to get cold in the high Mojave desert.

As this is Thanksgiving Season,

It’s easy for me to reflect on all that I’m thankful for, because I am so blessed.

I am thankful for my home base here in the high desert. I’m thankful for dirt roads,

I’m thankful for my dog Hero, and a few humans

I have no blood relatives that I know because I’m adopted,

But I’m thankful for the parents who adopted me,

And my adopted siblings. Lisa and Kevin are both amazing, as are their spouses and children.

I’m also thankful for the people I choose to be family.

And profoundly thankful for Paul and Raven’s rainshadow ranch

I am thankful for all the views provided by the creator.

And I praise Yahweh Daily for creation.

I’m thankful that I was raised by a father that taught me to really look at creation

so that now I can see the beauty of the desert, the ocean, lakes, streams, and the mountains.

I am profoundly thankful for Vera and her love and bravery… She is my hero.

I am also so thankful for all of you who have subscribed to this YouTube channel,

and for each, and every one of my patrons, you’ve all made life better,

and I Thank you for joining Hero and I on this journey.

ABOUT

I once was called a militant monk… by a monk, I’ll take it.

Growing up, my father was a teacher. My brother, sister and I were fortunate, in that, every summer, we traveled, covering many thousands of miles. My father had the heart of a Nomad.

We traveled in a camper, backpacking, camping, taking trips with mules carrying our gear and sailing off the coast of California. We have seen the world in so many different ways.

I grew up riding horses and motorcycles, sleeping in tents, and seeing the sun rise sitting on a mountain top while hunting deer with my Dad. This all taught me to love the wind in my hair and the sun on my face.

Please visit the YouTube channel, subscribe, like, and follow. I hope as I grow as a vlogger/film maker, I can show viewers something new and tell a good story.

And perhaps, soon I’ll realize my dream of living on a sailboat, traveling the world meeting good people and loving it all.
