An unassuming document titled — MARS EXPLORATION, MAY 22, 1984 — is collecting virtual dust in the CIA archives…in this episode, we’re going to talk about the time the intelligence agency says they sent a psychic to Mars, and whether or not we can believe it.
Published online two years ago with little fanfare, this document is one of the most peculiar things to come out of the Stargate Project. Stargate was a once-secret U.S. Army unit created to investigate whether remote viewing had any military use. The project was terminated and disclosed in 1995 after the CIA decided results were too inconsistent for intelligence applications.
But that doesn’t mean the project’s findings aren’t worth exploring…one remote viewing analyst ventured to Mars 1 million years in the past, and was recorded observing pyramids, roads, artificial canyons and even “thin and tall” people who thought the CIA analyst was a “hallucination.” Life on Mars is still debated in the scientific community, but according to this singular account — which we would point out, is impossible to verify — there was once activity on the planet before it was wiped out by a “geological problem.”
Of note, mainstream scientists now think Mars did lose its water due to either the slowdown in spin in the planetary core, or the loss of surface water due to basalt rock formations.
